Samia
Founder and DirectorSamia O’Day, our Founder and Director, has dedicated over 30 years to championing music education across Canada. A recipient of numerous awards, including the McGill Concerto Competition, FACTOR Independent Artist Grant, and 2024 Brockville Business Person of the Year, she is a passionate advocate for the transformative power of music.
Under her leadership, the Canada Music Academy and the Montreal Academy of Music, which celebrate their 30th anniversary next year, have helped make over one million music lessons possible across Canada through a team of 300 certified, dedicated teachers. Samia is also the co-founder of All You Need Music, bringing musical instruments and pro audio products to students, customers and schools across Canada.
Samia’s work reflects her deep belief in the power of music to connect and uplift, creating meaningful opportunities for local youth and contributing to a vibrant musical culture in the community she values deeply.
Debbie
Customer Support and Office ManagerDebbie has been an essential part of our team since September 2017, bringing her expertise in sales, management, and customer care to everything she does. Before joining us, she successfully ran her own custom composites business for 20 years, mastering customer service, finance, and accounting along the way.
Her dedication and passion for creating exceptional experiences shine through in her work with both students and teachers. Debbie ensures everyone feels supported and cared for, making her an invaluable part of our community!
Lisa
Store Manager and Customer SupportLisa has been a key player at All You Need Music since 2009, managing the store with expertise and dedication. Starting as one of our first students, she studied voice, piano, and guitar before joining us in a professional capacity. Today, Lisa handles daily store operations and builds important relationships with suppliers, educators, school boards, and community organizations, all while helping to enhance their music programs. Her extensive experience and commitment make her an invaluable asset to our team.
Irit
Senior Web & Graphic DesignerIrit is a highly experienced website and graphic designer with over 20 years of expertise, crafting stunning designs from the ground up and leading projects from concept to completion. She designs custom websites from scratch, infusing each page with her unique vision while ensuring precision and creativity in all graphic elements. Collaborating closely with programmers, Irit ensures seamless integration and functionality across websites, portals, and promotional materials. Besides her design work, Irit is a talented visual artist and has a solid background in music.
Kevin
Senior Web Developer / Software EngineerKevin, our Senior Web Developer since 2019, excels at turning ideas into effective, maintainable solutions. A lifelong musician and guitarist with a deep passion for music and experience in performance, recording, and composing, he also runs his own music production venture. As an electronics/software engineer and project leader, Kevin’s background includes designing logic analyzers, leading start-ups, and developing embedded software, earning awards and a patent in data acquisition along the way.

We also offer online music lessons across the world, connecting you with expert instructors, to help you achieve your musical goals, one note at a time.
As a result we are proud to have earned a reputation as one of the leading music schools in Canada. Our performance and review standards have earned us loyal students in the thousands since 1995 across Canada.
Certified Academy Teachers are professional musicians holding Bachelor, Master or Doctorate degrees in music or their equivalents. In addition to meeting our high professional standards, Certified Academy Teachers must also undergo a full, selective interview process.
